We fix solar systems other installers got wrong

One in five of our jobs is a system we did not install. Someone else put it on the roof, and it did not turn out the way the owner was promised.

Not a side service

The Philippine solar market has a recurring problem: installers who win on price by using lower-spec components, skipping safety steps and documentation, and becoming hard to reach after handover. Taking over those systems is a regular part of our work.

When owners call us

  • The panels produce less than they should, or the output swings without explanation
  • The inverter or battery failed early, and the original installer does not answer
  • DC cable runs are unlabelled, ungrounded or unsafely terminated
  • The system was sized wrong for the house or business
  • Documentation, warranty registrations or net-metering paperwork were never delivered

If any of these sounds familiar, an audit tells you what can stay and what has to change.

How a takeover works

  1. 01Audit. We inspect the installation end to end: panels, strings, mounting, DC and AC wiring, protection devices, inverter, battery and earthing. We compare what is on the roof with what you were sold.
  2. 02Written findings. You get an itemised list of what is wrong, what is unsafe, what needs replacing and what can stay, with costs for each line.
  3. 03Repair. We replace what needs replacing and redo what needs redoing, using industry-standard components only.
  4. 04Handover. You receive the documentation pack the system should have come with: as-built diagrams, panel string layouts, labelled breakers, warranty registrations and a one-page operating guide.

Our standard does not change for repairs

Every Achiv job, new build or takeover, is held to the same commitments. We do not substitute lower-spec components to win on price. Every DC run is labelled. Every lug is torque-checked. The team that does the work is the team that signs the workmanship warranty. We do not send a sub-contracted crew.

If you want to export to the grid

If the original installer never completed the paperwork, we prepare the engineer-signed single-line and as-built drawings your distribution utility asks for and guide you through the application. You file it with the utility.

Where we work

Greater Manila and Cebu, with full design, install, repair and after-sales service in both. For systems outside these areas, contact us and we will look at it case by case.

Start with photos.

Send a photo of your inverter display, the panels on the roof, the breaker box, and your last two electricity bills. That is usually enough for us to tell you what to check first.

Frequently asked

Three questions we often get.

Will you work on a system with equipment you don't normally install?
Yes. We audit whatever is on the roof. If a component is sound, it stays. If it is unsafe or failing, we tell you why and quote a replacement.
What happens to my existing warranties?
Manufacturer warranties on panels, inverters and batteries usually stay with the product. Where the original installer did not register them, we help you do it and file claims on components that failed early. Our own workmanship warranty covers the work we do.
Is an audit worth it if the system still runs?
Often, yes. A system can run and still be unsafe, for example with ungrounded frames or unprotected DC runs, or produce well below what it should. The audit tells you which it is.
